Academics and researchers in the family

Saba Imanzadeh

Cousin

Teaching Fellow · Department of Molecular and Cell Biology · University of Leicester

Saba is a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Leicester, where she contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the biological sciences. Her work sits at the intersection of molecular biology and education, helping train the next generation of life-science researchers.

As cousins, our academic paths span quite different domains — computer science and artificial intelligence on one side, molecular and cell biology on the other — but they share a common thread: a drive to understand complex systems from first principles. The growing convergence of AI and the biological sciences makes the complementary nature of our fields especially exciting.
